[pvrusb2] Just a black screen at the television.

Hi there,

First i'll explain the situation: currently I'm at an offshore vessel and we have provided a camera system with recorders, so far so good.
The client would like to have the images from the recorders to the tv system so they could watch the camera's on different channels on the tv.

So now comes the hard part:
Television system: Locatel Eclipse 2.1(Webinterface)
Avstreamer:  Linux avstreamer-xxxxxx 2.6.26-2-686 #1 SMP Sat Nov 20 23:06:30 UTC 2010 i686 GNU/Linux (never been updated since installation?)

The first time I was logging into the debian server and tried to change the hostname i.e. I got the message: No space left on device.
I've checked some log files and saw that the latest date was 29th of may and it stopped in the middle of the sentence: May 29 18:05:57 avstreamer kernel: [9561418.752107] usb 8-3.1: new high spe
After copying the log file to a usb stick and emptying it, I was able to edit some files.

The thing I noticed next was that not all the 9 modules are showing up as config files in /etc/avstreamer/ only a couple of them. It might be because there was no space left before that the system didn't create them.
So I created it manually, with the serialnumbers labelled on the modules and gave them ip addresses in the file: /etc/avstreamer/multicast.conf

The file looks like this:
7275139; 225.1.1.10:11111
7274900; 225.1.1.11:11111
7116476; 225.1.1.12:11111
7116998; 225.1.1.13:11111
7116903; 225.1.1.14:11111
7274989; 225.1.1.15:11111
7274885; 225.1.1.16:11111
7274884; 225.1.1.17:11111
7274887; 225.1.1.18:11111
7116999; 255.1.1.19:11111

And the config file for a module looks like:
# Auto created config file for PVRUSB2 device with serial 7116998
#
# Explore the options and their values by looking in
# /sys/class/pvrusb2/sn-<serial> and by using pvrusb2-config.sh.
#
# More info can be found at the driver authors homepage:
# http://www.isely.net/pvrusb2/usage.html#sysfs

#ctl_frequency=C53
ctl_input=composite
ctl_video_bitrate_peak=8000000
ctl_video_bitrate=6000000
ctl_volume=58000
#ctl_video_aspect=16x9

The input is correct it is composite. About the bitrates I'm not to sure.

So far so good.
Whenever I'm trying to give the server the command: /etc/init.d/avstreaming start it will say the following:

The server is not connected to the internet so every update I need to do is going to be by usb stick.

On the eclipse system I've added 5 IP channels, only 5 modules are in use (First 5).
[cid:image001.png at 01CFD8F7.CD27E7E0]

When changing the tv to i.e. channel 32 I just get a black screen with nothing else.

I've got the strange feeling the somehow the systems are not chatting with each other or the system is not finished, because it has never been used.
I also have a few pictures in the attachments with what the servers says when I switch a module on.

Is anyone experienced with the system or the setup called above or have a solution/suggestion for it?

Thanks in advance.

Met vriendelijke groet/Kind regards,
