[pvrusb2] Quick Start for Hauppauge 1950 Digital Tuner and Composite Inputs?

Hi Folks:

I am using the pvrusb2 driver to control my Hauppauge 1950 on Ubuntu 10.04,
kernel 2.6.32-28-generic.
The analog tuner seems to be working fine, but I cannot find the
instructions for using the digital tuner or the composite input using the
DVB side of pvrusb2 (I think?).  I can set the device to use the composite
input, but the resulting picture looks like a poorly tuned over the air
station.  Maybe the analog tuner needs to be shut down or something?

v4l2-ctl is generally what I use to control the 1950.  I love the device but
I'm trying to get this last bit figured out.

Can anyone point me to a howto or just send a couple hints?  I have been
looking for some time now.
