[pvrusb2] hauppauge hvr 1950 pal compatibility

Hello,
I really liked the old wintv pvrusb2 analog box. Now I want to upgrade
to digital kabel tv.
My question is:
If I get the hvr 1950 from the US, can it also deal with PAL format,
since I live in Europe?
