Just a quick followup on this...
Thank you to everyone who responded (there were quite a few). I think I
have enough datapoints for the 24xxx and 29xxx Hauppauge devices. I
have a couple datapoints on the HVR-1950 as well, but that device is a
lot newer and hasn't gone through as many hardware re-spins as the 24xxx
has so I think we're fine there as well. So I don't need any more info
for those devices.
I very much would like to hear from anyone with a "Gotview" device.
This is a much more scarce tuner; I believe it's Russian. I don't have
one here. Support for it exists in the pvrusb2 driver due to a lot of
help / patience from an owner of the device (who I am also contacting).
If you have this device, I'd very very much appreciate it if you could
do the above just so I can get at least one confirmation that I will
(still) have its I2C address configuration correct.
Again, thank you everyone for the responses I've gotten.
-Mike
