I noticed F11 and mythtv ocassionally lost the audio after FF/RW, too.
I used to exit like you wrote, but I found that hitting "p" (Pause),
waiting a second or two, and hitting "p" again got the audio back. Not
sure if waiting is necessary.
But like you wrote, it isn't a pvrusb2 problem. I am just using the
pvrusb2 module that comes with kernel-2.6.29.6-217.2.3.fc11.x86_64
and my two pvrusb2's have never lost the audio. I've been running F11
since 7/17/09 without any pvrusb2 problems.
