Thank you for the complement. But in all fairness others probably
wouldn't say that. I've had my share of passionate "discussions" on a
few other mailing lists and the occasional IRC channel. I guess it
depends on the situation :-)

On the other hand, I've been where all you folks are, and I've also had
experiences, as a user, with other less-than-helpful developers. So I
always try to remind myself not to be that way. After all you all are
just trying to make things work, and I didn't publish the driver just to
antagonize the user community! I started this originally because of a
single plea for help years ago, and I happened to have the right
hardware laying around. After years and years of benefitting from Linux
I thought the time was overdue to try to give something back. And so
here we are.

I always appreciate the feedback and I'm glad that I've been successful
in actually giving something back.

Since it was asked, then perhaps as "payment" consider what you can do
to help out others in the community in some way befitting what your
particular strengths might be. Everybody has something they can
contribute - testing, development, documentation, information
collection, ideas, leadership, design, or even just hand-holding for
other confused users. The trick is to identify your strength(s) and
then offer it up. Do that and I'll consider your "debt" paid :-)
