This is done using "cat /proc/kmsg"
pvrusb2_a: i2c scan beginning
pvrusb2_a: i2c scan: found device @ 0x18
pvrusb2_a: i2c scan: found device @ 0x21
pvrusb2_a: i2csc found device x40
d
pvrusb2_a: i2c scan: found device @ 0x50
ua:can: found device @ 0x61
pvrusb2_a: i2c scan done.
What should printout in syslog is:
pvrusb2_a: i2c scan beginning
pvrusb2_a: i2c scan: found device @ 0x18
pvrusb2_a: i2c scan: found device @ 0x21
pvrusb2_a: i2c scan: found device @ 0x40
pvrusb2_a: i2c scan: found device @ 0x43
pvrusb2_a: i2c scan: found device @ 0x50
pvrusb2_a: i2c scan: found device @ 0x61
I'm not sure if this is pvrusb2 driver related, or if the kernel's
timing is the real issue here. I'm guessing the later!
