[pvrusb2] pvrusb2 timeout?

I had this very same problem, which was happening several times aday

I suspected something was amok when I went off for a week in Hawaii, came
back, and the wintv-pvrusb2 had *not* crapped out.

This was because I'd shut off the room's A/C for my trip...and the pvrusb2
was plugged into the same outlet w/out protection.  (Why, I'm not sure --
I blame my brother ;) ).

But it's plugged into the UPS now, we'll see if that fixes it.
