OK, I had to be sure. You wouldn't be the first person tripped up by that
issue. There's another device they sell which has an almost identical
name (no "PVR" part in the name) but is otherwise a completely different
device. Seeing a different ID is a red flag for that sort of problem.
Model 941 sounds right. It should be working with the existing ID in the
driver. I can't believe that Hauppauge would have made a change of this
severity in the driver while still keeping the model # the same. (And
yes, I know they change RF tuners all the time but that issue is handled
well already in V4L and this driver leverages that.)

Well there's lots of useful info that can be gleaned from the log.
