[pvrusb2] mailing list loose end

This mailing list has been running now for roughly 1 month.  So far things
seem to have gone well.  However there is one detail left that I'd like to
close the loop on.

When I created this mailing list, I immediately auto-subscribed everybody
who previously had been on my personal "pvrusb2" pine group alias.  For
that I still have some amount of guilt, mainly because I am a strong
believer in opt-in lists and not the opt-out fraud that so many spammers
seem to think everyone tolerates.  Yet here I have gone and done that same
offense, by auto-subscribing the initial set of people.

Because of this I had asked everyone that I had auto-subscribed at that
time to please e-mail me a direct confirmation that you are indeed OK with
being on this list.  A number of you have done that and for that I am very
appreciative.  However many I still have not heard from, and I'd like to
know that you really do want to remain on this mailing list.  I have been
keeping track of the original set of auto-subscribed addresses and
checking off people who have since informed me.  To those who haven't I
ultimately must conclude that I'm probably just annoying you with this
silly mailing list and I should probably leave you alone.

For those whom I auto-subscribed back on September 1st and who have not
told me one way or the other: Please send me back a personal reply now to
<isely at pobox dot com> telling me that you are indeed positively OK with
my having subscribed you to this mailing list.  Don't post the reply (no
point in adding noise here); e-mail me directly.  This request *only*
applies to those whom I auto-subscribed back on the 1st of September, and
who have not told me yet that they really want to be on this list.

I will be out of town this weekend for a chorus competition (my other
hobby) so I probably won't be very responsive here for the next two days.
But - when I return I intend on tying up this loose end.

To summarize... For *only* those of you that I previously auto-subscribed
back on the 1st of September:  I MUST HEAR FROM YOU.  SEND ME A DIRECT
MESSAGE THAT YOU DO INDEED WANT TO BE HERE.  IF YOU DON'T TELL ME YOU WANT
TO STAY HERE I WILL UNSUBSCRIBE YOU.
